That is just darling! I have never sewn with a jelly roll either, except using some for a binding. Thank you for these ideas. I will try them.

I only saved my daughter’s 0-3 months clothes, so my squares were about 4 and a quarter inches. The outside border squares are 2 and a half inches. I didn’t add anything to the back of the clothes. I wish that I had because it was REALLY HARD to keep my squares lined up. Then for that applique piece, there is more than one. She had some clothes I thought were so cute and adorable but the appliques were on the very bottom of the pant legs, so I just cut around those and added them to the bigger parts of the clothes (for instance I cut a square out of the butt and added the applique from the leg to that). I hope that helps!!

Did you just do 6″ squares of each of the items of clothing? Did you adhere some non-stretchy (really technical word, I know!) to the stretchy clothing? I have LOTS of baby cloths just waiting to have this done!
